my 2 cents to the battery capacity:
35Wh / 14V = 2500mAh what is pretty low (in best case it can run a Core Solo notebook with onboard graphics for 2 hours, without using the CD/DVD drive).
A good notebook battery should have a capacity of 80 - 85 Wh to run a Core Duo notebook with dedicated graphics including the use of the CD/DVD drive to last for about 3 hours.

Can my Dell Latitude D410 optimize for more than one battery?

I have a four year old Dell Latitude D410 notebook which I purchased with two batteries. Can the dell battery optimization application calibrate the laptop for both batteries or only one?

A battery is just a box of power, any HP software that claims it’s optimizing itself for the battery or whatever is more marketing hype than reality.

The only thing they can do is see the total storage of the battery, and on small batteries, try to use run slower and on larger batteries, run faster.

Compaq r3000 battery won’t charge?why?

If my laptop is on, the battery doesn’t charge. However if I poweroff my laptop, the battery charges perfectly fine and lasts for about 3+ hours.

If I plugin the cable when laptop is on, the battery charges for 1 or 2 seconds and then it stops. The icon changes back to battery and led turned off.

Labtop battery questions or something else?

Question:i have a laptop that suddendly wont even power on. the green light flashes when you connect power cord to the unit. it wont engage, nothing happens to actual laptop. i was told this laptop when battery is dead, she can pull the battery out and use the power supply to power and use computer. i dont know much about laptops. i know if its software related the unit would still power on. but that doesnt even happen.
