South Korea SK Energy spokesman, said recently, SK Energy will work with Formosa Plastics AG signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop energy storage batteries.
Under the cooperation agreement signed by both parties, SK Energy and Formosa Plastics will jointly develop and produce lithium battery storage, the energy storage capacity than the high energy storage battery electric vehicles 1,000 times.
SK Energy is Korea’s largest oil producer. Last year, SK Energy has been selected as the Daimler subsidiary Mitsubishi Fuso’s hybrid electric car project lithium battery suppliers.
July this year, SK Energy Hyundai-Kia Group was selected as the lithium battery electric vehicle project suppliers.
