Why won’t my laptop turn on with sony VGP-BPS2 battery power
Question:My laptop will not turn on off of its sony VGP-BPS2 battery power if the batter life is less than about 60%. It will make a click, like it is trying to turn on, but nothing happens…. I plug in the AC power then everything is just fine and I unplug it once the computer powers up and I can work on it for a couple hours no problem. Please help! Thanks!
Answer: shows the symptoms of a dead or dying battery. But the fact that you say it runs for a couple of hours kinda contradicts that.. so I would just call it a defective battery for now,
